 Objective: To ascertain the height and summit location of Black Fell (Addingham High Moor)

Background: This hill is recorded as a 3beag (3b) based on a spot height of 381m on the OS map. Summits on Ilkey Moor often have embedded rocks at the highest point as is the case here. 

JNSA Dataset: Not recorded as less than P20.

Weather Conditions: overcast but windy

Equipment: Trimple Geo 7x

Summit: The summit position is a large rock on the cliff top at SE 07066 47120 with a height of 382m. 

Col: The critical col is in the area of SE 0792 4674 and from OS DEM data has a height of 366m. 

Output: The difference between the summit and col height positions is 16m. 

Conclusion: The site survey confirms that Black Fell's summit position is at SE 07066 47120 with a height of 382m resulting in a Prominence of 16m.
